INAPEM wants to take 100 entrepreneurs from Huíla to the Angola Startup Summit 2025
The National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) recently launched a program called “Twendy Huíla”, which aims to train 50 startups and 100 entrepreneurs to be present at the Angola Startup Summit 2025.
According to INAPEM, the 50 startups and 100 entrepreneurs selected, in the province of Huíla, will benefit from intensive training, for three months, in order to achieve better levels of competitiveness and sustainability.
The project launched in the capital, Lubango, in one of the facilities of the Business Incubation Center, within the scope of the promotion and expansion program of the National Network of Incubators, fits into INAPEM's strategy of developing entrepreneurship and innovation, taking as examples annual events of the Angola Startup Summit and others. The initiative is part of the national strategy to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, promoted by the Government of Angola, through INAPEM, with the main objective of training innovative startups and MSMEs to represent the province of Huíla in the 2025 edition of the Angola Startup Summit event .
The institution supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, with “Twendy Huíla 2025”, defends the creation of an ecosystem where ideas can flourish, be strengthened to generate real solutions for incubated projects, being the main objective.
For INAPEM, the focus on taking advantage of available physical spaces to implement business incubation centers, through collaboration with public and private partners, including provincial governments, in Huíla, also constitutes one of the program's purposes.
The program also guarantees an opening for other startups and entrepreneurs who feel qualified and have scalable business ideas to join throughout the training cycle, through contact that can be made through the various communication channels that INAPEM has.
Organized by the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, this program has the direct collaboration of the Provincial Government of Huíla, as well as partnerships with startups Rinovac, Siliveli, and Wongo, including support from Huawei, in order to promote solutions that generate economic, social and environmental impact throughout the country.
